Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Articheck account and related data.
Delete directly in the app (recommended)
You can permanently delete your account anytime in the app:
- Open the Articheck app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
If you're the head chef and your team has other members, the app will first prompt you to transfer the head-chef role to another member. If you're the only member, deleting your account also removes the entire team and its data.
Delete on request by email
If you can't sign in, email us from the address you registered with at gdpr@articheck.app with the subject “Account deletion request”. We process requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account we permanently remove data tied to your account:
- login details (email, authentication) and display name,
- team membership and your role,
- photos you uploaded (avatar, recipe photos),
- your personal device settings.
If deletion dissolves the whole team (you were the only member), team data is also removed: sections, prep lists, checklists, shift schedule, recipes, events, HACCP records and shopping items.
What data we may retain
Content you created in a shared team that continues to operate (e.g. shared recipes or prep lists) may remain in the team for other members. Anonymous crash diagnostics and data we must keep for legal reasons may be retained for the necessary period.
